| Crowns and Bridges
A crown is a cap that covers tooth, WHEN A TOOTH IS CRACKED, WEAKEN BY A LARGE RESTORATION OR TRAUMATIC INJURY, OR BY WEAR AND TEAR.
It allows the bite to be more evenly distributed over the remaining tooth structure. This effectively reduces the risk of fracture in the future.
Dental bridges literally bridge the gap created by one or more missing teeth. A bridge is made up of two crowns for the teeth on either side of the gap, and a false tooth/teeth in between.
BRIDGES ARE RESTORING THE LOOK OF YOUR SMILE AND THE FUNCTION OF YOUR DENTITION.
